Off up the coastNovember 3, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C
We scoot next door to The Kitchen on Cambridge for breakfast. Scrambled eggs on toasted (toasted toast, please) and oj for me and eggs Benny for John, unusually done on a chorizo ragu plus a flat white.
Then we drive round to collect Susan and Peter for our to trip to The Pinnacles, up the coast, which'll take a good couple of hours to get to.
Some good way up we dodge in to see the sand dunes at Lancelin. It's quite a long detour but useful for a toilet stop and drinks, overlooking the Indian Ocean.
As it's lunchtime, we drive past The Pinnacles and on to the famous Lobster Shack for lunch. It's quite a long wait but eventually we all get our half lobster with garlic butter and chips. And I get a little paddle in the Indian Ocean.Read more
