A beautiful day in Byron Bay

      December 12, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

      This version of you ☀️🐎🌳🚗

      December 20, 2023 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

„This version of you“ by Odesza is playing in Asaf‘s car as he picks Julia and Alexandra up in Byron Bay. It’s time to move on again.

Asaf was one of the men in the car after the donkeys brought them together. It’s his last day in Australia for now and he invited the two to join a few friends and him on a boat in Brunswick.

On the way there they continue talking about the journey of Julia and Alexandra for their creation of the movie „LIVE NOW“.
Suddenly Asaf drives somewhere else, leaves the car, comes back: „I’ve extended renting this car and you can have it until the end of the week“ - „What???“, Julia and Alexandra ask, „yes! You have this car. And don’t thank me for it - it’s the universe who arranged it, I’m just letting it happen through me. You guys are on the mission for something that will change and support many people’s lives, so this is for you to help you continue the journey.“

Asaf also let’s Julia and Alexandra stay at his AirBnb after checking with the owners that that’s okay. It’s Julia’s first stay in an Airbnb.

Andrew, who drove the car of the men when they all met after seeing the donkeys, lives in a tiny house in the area and offers Alexandra and Julia to stay for a couple of days while he’s away.
Now that they have a car, they can make their way there and have some time in the beautiful forest.

Now Alexandra and Julia have a car, a tiny house and a dog - Nala.

On the way from the Airbnb of Asaf to Andrew, the three stop on the way to see the horses. At first the horses don’t come closer to them. When Asaf, Julia and Alexandra then begin the elements ritual (connecting to all elements and themselves) the horses walk over to them. 🐎🐎

Oh how wonderful it is to speak the language of the world…to realize ALL THINGS ARE WRITTEN BY THE SAME HAND ♾️✨♥️ (as Paulo Coelho has beautifully expressed it in The Alchemist)

THANKFUL FOR ALL THE MAGIC, FOR THIS AMAZING CIRCUMSTANCES TO CREATE AND SIMPLY FOR EXISTING, Alexandra and Julia send LOVE to all of you from their current home in nature ♥️✨🦃🌴🦘🦎🦋

Christmas with lightning & drums ⚡️🌅🎶🎄♥️

      December 24, 2023 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 23 °C

      „Your light is seen.
      Your heart is known.
Your soul is cherished by more people than you might imagine. If you knew how many others have been touched in wonderful ways by you, you would be astonished. If you knew how many people feel so much for you, you would be shocked. You are far more wonderful than you think you are! Rest with that. Rest easy with that. Breathe again. You’re doing fine. More than fine. Better than fine. You’re doing great. So relax. And love.“ Now
      Neale Donald Walsch

Alexandra and Julia are hitchhiking in rain and thunderstorms until about 1 pm. Close to the Highway they overcome their tired bodies by reconnecting to themselves and the elements and ask for the next step to show up quicker.

As they stand at a roundabout for a while, they suddenly see somebody in the car who they’ve met before a week ago: it’s Diego! One of the men they were having a jam session with the other night.
He picks them up and they’re all happy to see each other again - amazed about this serendipity ..again!
      Diego becomes their Christmas miracle.
Even though they don’t spend Christmas Eve together, they still spend some time and enjoy flowing through the day - having meaningful conversations, listening to music. 🎶✨🎄

Diego gives them a present: a bottle of red wine called „NOW“.
The two enjoy the wine and some snacks at the beach while watching a spectacular show of lightning above the crashing waves. They reflect on the past happenings and on life in general - feeling so grateful and so much love.

Alexandra and Julia send their love to everybody - especially people who spend Christmas alone or who feel alone or worried. The feeling of inner peace and oneness is the strongest. ♾️

While the storm gets stronger, Julia and Alexandra join the people at the drum circle next to the Brunswick beach under a roof.

      It’s a beautiful joyful evening.

      Merry Christmas everybody! ♥️✨

A special thanks to YOU who donated for our movie and this path we’re on! And to the people offering us food, drinks, transport and a place to be. 🫶 Thank you for supporting us and for walking this path with us 💛

      Onwards to Yamba

      January 10, 2020 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 29 °C

The most expensive park to stay in and the worst night’s sleep. Most campsites have a curfew of around 9 or 9:30 after which you are expected to be quiet. Groups of people were still chatting past 11:00 which was frustrating as we wanted to get up early to go to the market. Then, for some reason, neither of us could sleep. Our site was on the edge of the camp, the other side of the fence was a public car park. Cars came and went throughout the night. At around 7:00am a workman came to the public car park to clear the sand from the drain. Steel shovel on a stone car park followed by a pressure washer. Yes, we were up early, but didn’t feel much like doing anything.

But it’s an adventure so got up, walked over the dunes and onto Tallow Beach where people were already surfing, sunbathing, swimming, jogging etc. The sun rising over the sea made a great picture.

Onto Mullumbimby Market via a dirt road over another range of hills, wasn’t expecting that. The farmers market only had about 30 stalls but a good range of fresh produce.

We drove back to the coast via Brunswick Heads where we stopped for a walk along the beach. Like other estuaries, families appear to spend their time in the river rather than the sea. The little beaches are sandy and safe. Then on to Byron Bay where the more affluent hippies intermingle with back packers. We have seen more Tesla’s in the last 24hrs (and a Lamborghini SUV - never knew they made those) than during the rest of our time in Australia. While it has a good vibe, the beach was really crowded.

We drove up to see the lookout, but the car park was full and decided not to try the lighthouse, there will be more further along the coast.

Drove via Broken head to Lennox Head where we stopped for lunch and another walk along the beach, then drove towards Yamba where we had booked a campsite on the north shore of the Clarence River, Yamba is on the south shore. The site is smaller, far less busy and we can see the river from river from Bertha. We hope we will have a good night 🤞

DON’T BE a TOSSER - this was on a big notice on the main road and asks people not to”toss” stuff out of tier car. We missed the sign but found another for the same campaign about cigarette ends. Some of the fires in the area are believed to have been caused by cigarette ends. On the drive down we went past mile after mile of burnt forest.

      Brunswick Heads - Strandtag 2

      November 19, 2023 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

🥰Read more

    • Day 32

      Brunswick

      October 23, 2020 in Australia ⋅ 🌙 18 °C

We woke up and went to an oval and done our run. It was really tough and both our legs were killing us. After we drove back to where we slept and had out showers as we were sweatinggg!
We drove to the beach at Pottspoint. First we got down the suitcases and I repierced my ears and we got down the fan because we possibly will stay in a campsite at some stage over the next few days because the weather is to get bad.
We layout on the beach for a while there was clouds out the whole time we were there but it was a really nice temperature and breeze.
After we went to a pool in Brunswick to wash and swim. Two people came in when we were there and m they were the splashiest swimmers we have ever seen 😅. In the pool was just old ladies kind of exercising and a woman with 2 kids so no one was moving around to much. Then the couple came in and we all got pinned to the sides as they started doing lengths and announced it before they got in basically saying out of the way. They were a hazard 😆 the man was splashing so much I don't think he could see where we was going and he took out a little boy 😆
It was good to get showers. We were so hungry then and we were going to go get bits for dinner but Jake was dreaming about the Thai we shared the other night as it was so nice and it's hard to find one as nice. So we got it and it was delish.
We went to the shops then to get bananas etc for the morning as we parked up for the night at Brunswick.

      Brunswick to Byron Bay

      October 24, 2020 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 21 °C

We woke at Brusnwick at the oval. Two vans parked so close beside us which was annoying and ment very little wind was going through the van even though we had 2 doors open.
We left there and drove back to the bathrooms and where we slept the other nights. The weather was spitting the odd bit or rain and it was given. So we done our workout and just got it done before it started to lash. Then we had our fruit and just people watched and watched things on our phone. The rain stopped so we decided to walk around the town of Brunswick and we had a look around the shops and got a coffee.
We just got back to the car when it started to rain again. We drove to Byron and up to the lighthouse to have a look. There is some really nice views but the weather was wrecking views some so we will have to go back up when it's nice again.
The weather was non stop so we decided to go into a campsite for the night as it ment we could have the fan on, as we prob wouldn't be able to leave doors open with the rain. We eventually signed in and drove to our patch. Its a really nice campsite. We drove back into the town as the rain was so heavy and we food. We had a laugh getting up the awning again as it was bucketing down and it seemed like each time Jake took out the hammer to put the things in the ground it got heavier 😆. We eventually had it all sorted and it was so handy. Jake went to get his shower first and then I had mine. The showers were so warm and lovely it was the cleanest I have felt in a while. Then we put on a wash and dried and we watched SAS Australia. We woke during the night needing a wee but other than that we had a great sleep and it was so nice to know we didn't have to move on because a ranger was coming or we shouldn't have been there.

      Brunswick Heads - Simple Pleasures

      October 15, 2020 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

Brunswick Heads - beautiful place on the north coast full of simple pleasures. It is a sea side village that offers everything from surfing, fishing, paddle boarding in clear blue rivers, showers and a great pub - does live music on a Sunday.

We paddle boarded through the mangrove rivers, and also hired a boat and had a bbq on one of the islands near the break wall.

Boat day - Amber collected oysters, we caught a flat head and saw turtles and sting rays.

Paddle board day - we were cheap and hired one paddle board to share. It was lots of fun, and a great workout for the core and arms. The water was crystal clear and the weather was perfect! Must do!!
