    Wolf Rock Dive

    October 6, 2016 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

Mir sind widermal go tauche!

So, we went diving again. This time in a very special place called "Wolf Rock". It is home to a lot of grey nurse sharks. These 2.5 meter sharks look more frightning then they actually are. But thats probably something you only realize when you go down there yourself and see how peaceful they are.
There were about a dozen of them all around us. Some were resting on the ground, while others would maybe swim curiously towards us to have a close look and then turn back and head off again.

Besides the face to face encounter with the sharks, we saw an eagle- and a Mantaray gracefully flying through the water. The 21 degrees cold water ^^.

We were also impressed by our diving instructor Kevin, who has been diving his whole live. I (Jan) have never seen a diving instructor taking his job so seriously.
