Today, we traveled to Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada. In 1932, Glacier and Waterton became the world's first International Peace Park when the governments of Canada and the United States agreed to link the two Parks. Prairies Meet the Mountains

On the east side of Waterton-Glacier, the prairies abruptly transition to mountain forests. This transition was evident as we traveled along Chief Mountain International Highway.
