Since we didn't want to brave the traffic in Toronto, we took the bus to the Scarborough Bluffs. Due to construction, we needed a bit more than two hours to get there. But the sight was well worth it.
We were surprised by the surfers in the area, and we enjoyed the cool breeze and the view of the cliffs.
We ate at a local restaurant before going to the beach area.
After returning to the Downtown area, we walked to the love park (there is a heart shaped pond) and checked out a few shops.Read more

Nur eine kleine Anekdote:
Steph und ich waren zwei Glückspilze. Für die herrliche Aussicht mussten wir über einen Zaun klettern, was eigentlich verboten ist da die Klippen starken Erosionen unterliegen ähnlich wie auf Rügen die Kreidefelsen, naja jedenfalls machen das viele, da die Aussicht hinter dem Zaun total langweilig ist. Wir waren schon ca. 15-20 min wieder auf der "legalen Seite" und haben noch ein kleines Picknick gemacht, da kam die Polizei und die, die da gerade hinter dem Zaun waren haben mächtig Ärger bekommen 🙈 wir dachten beide nur: ppppuuuuuuuhhhhh, Glück gehabt 😂
Ist ja nicht so als stehen da nicht alle 2 Meter Schilder, dass es verboten ist, Geldstrafe bis zu 5000 CAD.... Egaaaaaal.Read more

Heute habe ich eine lange Radtour durch die Stadt gemacht. Dabei habe ich entdeckt, dass man in dieser Riesenstadt auch lange Radtouren in der Narur machen kann.

Day 16
Blind River ON to Home!

It doesn’t seem real yet, but after another 600 km, 9 hour day on the road, at 7 pm Saturday July 20th, I have arrived home!!!
A total of 4,527 kms! I don’t think I’ve pushed myself that hard in a long time : )
I feel I can now consider myself a true Canadian. I’ve motorcycled the entire country, Atlantic to Pacific taking in the sights, sounds and smells you can only experience on a bike. I’ve now seen every province and slept in Moose Jaw : )
I’ve changed a bit…I believe you’re never too old for adventure and personal growth…
Cheers to all of you who followed!!! It definitely made the journey easier and more fulfilling!
