Day 1: Left the Rest-a-While caravan park after breakfast, the Caravan Park is for sale for $350,000. Drove 280 km to Cowra after stopping at the Wellington Information Centre. Booked into the caravan Park and looked around the Town. decided to stay anothger night as there is plenty to see around Cowra.
Day 2: Drove out to the Japanese Gardens. After having a coffee walked around the gardens which is the largeset Japanese Garden in the Southern Hemisphere. We then went onto the site of the WW 2 POW camp. This was the site of the Japanese Prisoner outbreak. Inspected the nearby War cemetery. After lunch in town went to the information centre and watched the Hologram show of the prisoner outbreak. We then drove out to see the newly completed Silo Art at Grenfell.Read more
