Since we were getting late, the tour operator had provided an auto-rickshaw for us. We got on in it and were whisked off towards the port on the Magdalena river nearby. There, the motorized canoe we were supposed to take, had gone a bit away to stand in the shade while they waited for us. It was too hot to stand in the sun for even 5-10 min. As soon as we reached the quay, the canoe came over and we started our journey 30 min late at 3:30 pm.Read more

Es uno de los manjares típicos de Mompox. Se trata de una cuajada que es extendida sobre una mesa, se corta en tiras y se enrolla (en varias capas) puede estar acompañada de bocadillo en su interior. Favorecido por el clima, el queso adquiere una consistencia elástica. 2.500 COP. Uno de los principales expositores de este manjar es el señor Jair, que los fabrica en su casa saliendo de la parte historica hacia el norte al lado del rio (carrera primera).Read more
