After a short flight from Hamburg we arrived in Copenhagen where we'll be spending our last night in Europe.
Silly as we are, we didn't realize that Denmark isn't using the Euro as currency so we were somewhat appalled when we thought our train ticket from the airport into town (20 minute train ride) was going to cost 72 Euro...
We went over to the taxi line to check how much a ride into town was... 250. Nearly fainted.
Back to the trains we finally realized it's 72 Kroner, which is about 10 Euro.
Oh, how we laughed :P
Tomorrow afternoon we're flying back to Des Moines via Chicago.
PS: Copenhagen seems like a nice place to live - lots of bike riding; and we met the happiest, most helpful, friendly train guard ever.Read more
