At the last place we have stopped we met an older lady from Calgary/Alberta which said to us we might gonna do something, most Canadians might never do (with our Canada crossing journey): "Hold your hand into the water, here in Newfoundland and collect a stone or two, then touch the water again in Victoria/British Columbia and exchange one of the stones there."
