Der Tag fing mitten in der Nacht um 4 Uhr an... 🤮 Early Bird Kick Start nach Assuan.... 4:15am PICK UP Kathrin und Peter, 5am PICK UP der Damen aus Dänemark Arenze, Ulla und Cecilie.... und auf gehts verschlafen 😴💤auf die Piste durch die Wüste....🐪🐫 Während im Bus alle schliefen 💤 oder es versuchten, ging links von uns die Sonne über dem Meer auf.... Die Fahrt durch die Wüste war vom Blick her magisch... mal mit wachem und mal mit schlafendem Auge...

Chef Stewardess Zeb sorgte in regelmässigen Intervallen dafür, dass es etwas zu essen gab...

Nach 4 Stunden erreichten wir Luxor, wo die nächsten Gäste, Nenita und Jimmy zusteigen sollen. Da sie auf der anderen Nilseite wohnen, brach Kathrin mit dem Boot auf, um sie abzuholen, und wir anderen hatten eine halbe Stunde, uns die Füße zu vertreten und Kaffee☕️und Klo🚽🚻 zu finden... Nach großer Begrüßung und "Organisation" eines weiteren SUP's im Luxor Guest House, wurde alles und jeder im Bus verstaut, und weiter ging die Reise... Leider langsamer als erwartet und irgendwann spürbar an den Nerven zehrend... Aber auch heute wieder.... Ende gut alles gut...

Bei der Ankunft brachte sich Mahmoud fast um vor Freude Kathrin zu sehen und danach dann auch noch Stefan zu entdecken, mit dem er vor ein paar Tagen noch gechattet hat, der im aber nichts verraten hatte 😅

Aus zwei ordentlichen Feluken wurden dann zwei Chaosgaleren, dank all unseres Gepäcks.... Die Crew hatte direkt einen leckeren Willkommens Snack vorbereitet, der alle Gaumen verzauberte.... Damit dann aber keine Ruhe aufkommen sollte, musstenl) erst einmal unzählige Boards mit den 3 Pumpen gefüllt werden... Finnen montiert und Paddel zusammengesteckt werden, denn die erste Nil Paddelrunde stand ja an... Auf dem Wasser waren die Strapazen der Busfahrt vergessen und es gab nur verzückte Gesichter.... Es ging stromaufwärts in Richtung Elephantine Island, wo schon Corinna, Ingrid und Max auf uns warteten... allerdings mit einem Board auf der Verlustliste... es hatte wohl unter der Hitze gelitten und war an der Naht aufgeplatzt....

Aber Not mach "erfinderich"... erst kam uns Corinna auf dem Wasser entgegen und danach dann auch bald Ingrid und Max, die sich ein Board teilten....

Es wurde langsam dunkel und wir kamen mit dem letzten Licht an den Booten an, wo wir dann feststellen mussten, dass auch Corinnas Board ein Loch hat... 2 auf einen Streich... das ist schon mal ein spannender Anfang...

An Bord ließ sich die Crew etwas Zeit mit der Essenzubereitung und auch durch knurrende Mägen und hungrige Damen nicht stressen, Gut Ding will eben Weile haben.... Die Zeit wurde mehrsprachig fürs "Teaming" und Kennenlernen bei einem Glas Tee genutzt....

Dann noch schnell das extrem leckere Abendessen verdrückt und dann ab ins Bett. Morgen um 4:30am ist die Nacht wieder zu Ende und es geht zum Sonnenaufgang auf die andere Seite und den Berg hinauf....

UND DAS UPGRADE DES JAHRES...... es gibt Strom auf den Booten!!!!

The day started in the middle of the night at 4am... 🤮 Early Bird Kick Start to Aswan.... 4:15am PICK UP Kathrin and Peter, 5am PICK UP of the ladies from Denmark Arense, Ulla and Cecilie.... and off we go 😴💤 on the track through the desert....🐪🐫 While everyone was sleeping in the bus 💤 or trying, the sun rose over the sea to our left.... The drive through the desert was out of sight here magically... sometimes with eyes awake and sometimes with eyes asleep...

Chief hostess Zeb made sure there was something to eat at regular intervals...

After 4 hours we reached Luxor, where the next guests, Nenita and Jimmy, are supposed to board. Since they live on the other side of the Nile, Kathrin took the boat to pick them up, and the rest of us had half an hour to stretch our feet and find coffee☕️and toilet🚽🚻... After a great welcome and "organization" another SUP's in the Luxor Guest House, everything and everyone was stowed away in the bus, and the journey continued... Unfortunately, slower than expected and at some point noticeably getting on my nerves... But again today.... All good that ends well ...

Upon arrival, Ahmed almost brought himself to see Kathrin with joy and then to discover Stefan, with whom he chatted a few days ago, but who hadn't told him anything 😅

Two decent feluccas then became two chaos galleys, thanks to all our luggage.... The crew had prepared a delicious welcome snack that enchanted all palates.... But so that there was no rest, countless boards with the 3 Pumps filled... Fins mounted and paddles put together, because the first round of paddling on the Nile was coming up... On the water, the hardships of the bus ride were forgotten and there were only ecstatic faces.... We went upstream in the direction of Elephantine Island , where Corinna, Ingrid and Max were already waiting for us... but with one board on the list of casualties... it must have suffered from the heat and burst open at the seam....

But need be inventive... first Corinna came towards us on the water and then soon Ingrid and Max, who shared a board....

It was slowly getting dark and we arrived at the boats with the last light, where we had to realize that Corinna's board also has a hole... 2 in one go... that's an exciting start...

On board, the crew took some time to prepare the food and not to be stressed by growling stomachs and hungry ladies, good things take time.... The time was used in several languages ​​for "teaming" and getting to know each other over a glass of tea... .

Then quickly the extremely delicious dinner and then off to bed. Tomorrow at 4:30am the night is over again and we go to the other side and up the mountain at sunrise....
