    Colliure

    June 5 in France ⋅ ⛅ 22 °C

Read more

    Collioure

    June 6, 2019 in France ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

Well today has been a day of two halves, complete enjoyment of the town and weather and complete disappointment in the fact that today we were going to treat ourselves to a nice lunch out and we walked past some lovely restaurants, not cheap but hey we're on holiday. Now comes the disappointment after walking around and stopping for a drink and walking a bit further we decided we were hungry but by now it's past 3 o"clock and all the French restaurants have stopped serving meals in the whole of the town! The only thing we could get to eat was a crepe, but 6 Euro's for a pancake? So we have walked back hungry and disappointed, good job we've got some gammon, beer and wine back at the ranch.Read more

Chateau Royal de Collioure & the Church

    June 6, 2019 in France ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

Yes yet more old buildings and churches. The Chateau dominates the town it is huge we decided to have a look around only 4 Euro's entrance but all the rooms were empty and there was little information on what we were looking at so we didn't hang about although the views were fantastic. The church was very nice and if you put a Euro in the slot the alter was illuminated.Read more

"I dont do castles or churches" Deb you have definitely proved this quote wrong on this trip! Even with empty rooms the building is great and its very novel having a light up altar!!

    Collioure

    April 10, 2018 in France ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

    Mardi, 10 avril 2018
Youpiiii! Read more

    Ausflug nach Collioure

    September 14, 2019 in France ⋅ ⛅ 27 °C

    Seht selbst...

    Collioure

    August 13, 2020 in France ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

Read more

    Collioure Seascapes

    June 6, 2019 in France ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

Martin didn't want to come here at first but I managed to talk him into one more day by the coast and I am so glad I did, I think we have both decided this is the nicest town we have visited all holiday, so far. The beach is pebbly but the sea is a beautiful colour and the sun is shining, what more could you ask for.Read more

It was definitely worth a visit here, what a find! Beautiful pictures. Safe travels northwards. Fiona
