Pointe de Jean Place

To day we took a ride back along the coast using a dyke, on the way there it was lovely as the wind was pushing us along, coming back was a bit tougher but we made it OK. The Lighthouse was built in the 1840’s its only 16m but is apparently visible from 20km away. The beach in front of the lighthouse was vast think, Mont Saint Michel at low tide, fortunately there is little tide here as I don’t think we could have outrun it on the soft sand. We are thinking about going pony trekking as it’s what everyone else seemed to be doing but only if we don’t have to trot that’s far too uncomfortable 😣. Probably another ride tomorrow this time inland towards a village called Mejanes for coffee ☕️ and cake.
As you can see from the photos the sun is shining brightly and John even got a little pink from the boat trip yesterday, I made sure he put on sunscreen today!Read more
