Coutances ist eine kleine Stadt auf einem Berg. Was hier eben so als Berg zählt. Immerhin ca. 130 über NN. Die Steigungen sind allerdings ordentlich. Es gibt drei Kirchen bzw. Kathedralen auf 200 m Entfernung. Und den wunderschönen Park, der ganz im Zeichen des 80jährigen Jubiläums des D-Day gestaltet ist.Read more

Kunstaustellung in einer ehemaligen Kirche. Netter Campingplatz Municipale. Generell haben die Franzosen eine Kultur fürs Umherreisen. Günstige Campingplätze, in vielen Orten gibt es gratis Stellplätze, und auch das Übernachten auf Parkplätzen geht oft problemlos.Read more

On our way down to Brittany we stopped at the top of the hill where a magnificant cathedral stands. You can see it kilometers away. A short stroll, a quick restock at the supermarket and we were off.
