Bud Spencer Museum

BUD SPENCER war für viele ein Held ind er Kindheit oder sogar eine Vaterfigur.
Er war vor seiner Filmkarriere ein Schwimm-Ass.
Er gewann mehreremale die Schwimm-Weltmeisterschaften.
Als er in die Filmproduktion rutschte lernte er Giuseppe alias Terence Hill kennen.
Durch mehrere kleine Nebenrollen sind Sie beste Freund fürs Leben geworden. Sie machten kaum noch Filme ohne einander, denn die beiden machten 19 Filme miteinander und Sie waren immer die Hüter des Gesetzes. Carlo alias Bud Spencer verstarb leider im 2016 und wurde 87 Jahre alt.
Seine Kinder haben für Ihn ein Museum errichtet in Berlin.

Heute Abend gehts nach Bad Herrenalb und geniessen noch die letzten paar Tage in einem Wellnesshotel.Read more

War, Wall and Peace

A day journey through time, from an emotional visit to the Jewish Memorial to the East Wall Memorial, via signing the book of condolence at the British Embassy.

Walking through the Kreusberg area where a mixture of affluent, smart buildings to a more ethnic bohemian setting. Engelbecken Park an Lake for coffee and hot chocolate before seeing the ‘Baumhaus an de Mauser’ (tree house by the wall - a recycled scrap treehouse built against the Berlin Wall on the west side). Then on to the ‘Oberbaumbrucke’, the bridge crossing into East Berlin. The East Side Gallery has many artistic and graffiti artwork, including the famous kiss between Brezhnev and Erich Honecker, a depiction of a photo taken on the 30th anniversary celebration of the foundation of East Germany.Read more

Freddy Bear

We knew when we started this European adventure that we'd be doing a lot of walking most days. Each day in Berlin we covered 14-17kms, making it about 25,000 steps according to my watch and I reckon for Freddy's little legs that would have been at least double that amount.

Day 2, Fred spotted 'Blue Bear' and whilst we didn't take a photo of the Bear that day, we both commented on it's appearance (Mummy & Freddy both love blue) and how 'cute' it was. Further down the street we noticed Butler Bear and I suggested I take a photo of that bear and him. This then turned into a game, find a bear, Sarah would take the photo as Fred would do a pose with the Bear. Whilst I know we didn't spot all of them, it definitely helped Freddy achieve the walking that we needed to accomplish to soak up what Berlin had to offer.

Side note: The Buddy Bears Berlin have become an integral part of Berlin's cityscape. They stand as a friendly, colourful symbol of tolerance in the streets (and as a landmark to Berlin).Read more

Berlino é la città dell'underground. Le scritte sui muri parlano per questa città. Vittima di tantissime ingiustizie, il divario fra Est ed Ovest non é mai finito. Dalla torre della televisione é possibile ammirare tutta la città. Con i suoi 368 metri complessivi è il quarto edificio per altezza di tutta Europa, il primo tra quelli aperti al pubblico.Read more

Berlin Hauptbahnhof

Vollgepackt mit meinem großen Backpack und einem Wanderrucksack, startet für mich heute das große Abenteuer - Kanada!!!!!

Um auf Nummer sicher zugehen, bin ich heute schon zu meiner Freundin Maya nach Marburg gefahren, damit ich auch ja pünktlich am Folgetag in den Flieger steige (In Frankfurt wohl bemerkt)!

Meine Mum hatte mich netterweise zum Bahnhof gebracht und was soll ich sagen. Der Abschied hätte auch tränenreicher sein können. Bin stolz auf dich Mum ;)

Die Deutsche Bahn meinte es gut mit mir und es verlief alles nach Plan und vor allem pünktlich.

Angekommen in Marburg hat mich meine Freundin vom Bahnhof abgeholt und wir hatten noch einen wundervollen Nachmittag/Abend zusammen verbracht.
