FramuraMay 22, 2022 in Italy ⋅ ☀️ 75 °F
We decided to visit one of the tiny towns in the Cinque Terre this afternoon while the crowds were insane in Vernazza.
We did the easy trail along the ocean...and then the hard trail up to the town. It was quiet and lovely - so interesting to walk the narrow streets and imagine what it's like living up there!

With stunning coastline, rich history, and authentic Italian charm, it's perfect for those looking to experience a more authentic side of Italy. Visitors can explore the rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and scenic cycling routes that wind through the hills and along the coastline. Framura also has a rich cultural heritage, with historic churches and ancient fortresses that once protected the town from invading armies. The village offers a glimpse into traditional Italian culture, with family-run restaurants serving delicious local cuisine, including the region's famous pesto made from locally grown basil, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese.Read more
