Palazzo Gopcevich

Our final day in Trieste was pouring rain. We checked out of our accommodation and left our bags there and headed to a cosy little cafe for some chai and cake. We sat on a comfy couch and read, which was the perfect way to start the day considering the weather.

Once the rain had eased up we walked along the water and back out to the pier and it started raining again so we found a place for our last Italian meal and of course we had pizza and pasta. It was delicious 🤤 we then bought an umbrella and walked back to pick up our bags and caught a taxi to the the train station.

The bus picked us up and we were on our way to Ljubljana. The bus was delayed and we got stuck in some traffic but we still arrived not long after we were supposed to. Unfortunately it was still pouring rain when we arrived but we walked to our apartment and showered straight away. It is absolutely gorgeous here and right in the middle of the city. We love it so much. Steve went and got us Chinese takeaway for dinner while Tegan did some uni work.Read more
