Minamisatsuma Shi

Our last stop before heading back to the ship was a Samurai village gardens, we visited 4 different gardens, with last being the only one with a pond was the head samurai’s house, it was also built on the highest point of the village and had a hidden room, which was the toilet for the house, where the samurai and his family could listen in on conversations of passing villagers to find out if there was going to be a rebellion or just what they thought of their lord.

At the end we were leaving we were able to try on some samurai armor.

Was also the first day I needed my hat, which was especially nice after the heavy rain yesterday.
