Day 1
what an incredible start: i woke up energised and motivated after enough hours of valuable sleep (Which was more than necessary after 5 days of 3-6 hours of sleep the last days) awesome weather, smooth packing and a tasty breakfast from a real bakery (that I was missing a lot in Tallinn) set the mood for a good start.
I was super exited before the start and the stream, but the packing took too much time. Soo it was rather a packing than a cycling stream. I really want to stream for you during riding aswell. I’m thinking about doing one on Sunday :) I was so happy to finally be in the saddle riding. All my detailed planning paid off: the setup worked perfectly and the riding was surprisingly easy although I was carrying 50 kilos of bass and equipment. The end of the day was spiced up by an adventurous search for a place to sleep. A sandy road forced me to stop. I found a small asphalt path into the forest who brought me to a steep hill which was hiding in the darkness. The exploration of the top brought me to an abandoned beach over which the sky was still coloured in red. When I was planning the ride I always imagined this kind of adventure: cycling through a forest and sleeping next to the beach. #
I can’t believe it turned into reality the very first day!
Today I checked the distance I cycled! 45km although I started at 19.00 in the evening.
