On route from Tongariro to LevinNovember 10, 2017 in New Zealand
Today a rest day, sort of...
We did the crossing yesterday so now it's time to give our body a bit of relief.
We travelled from Tongariro to Levin and didn't do much... well... I made all the Find Penguins posts you have read yesterday and the day before, until the point where we left you guessing what's next... ;-)
Nothing actually... a rest day... but also on a rest day, some photos are made.
We made them on route, from the resting area and the Whanganui River Lookout point. Enjoy, and until tomorrow ;-)
Oh and we saw a windmill... nothing special....
euhm... but it is a Dutch windmill..... in New Zealand..... what happened?
In 2002, in a township called Foxton, a group of enthousiasts decided to build a full scale replica of a 17th century Dutch windmill. It's being upkept now by volunteers and with help from donations... unfortunately, also you can see on the picture... probably not enough donations are coming through...
