We saw a pair of Long billed woodcreeper feeding their chicks inside the hollow of a palm tree. We turned back towards the lodge and were back by about 8 am.

Vier Tage im Dschungel liegen nun hinter uns. Die Lodge in welcher wir übernachtet haben liegt direkt am Amazonas und ist nur per Boot erreichbar. Der Fluss ist auf der Höhe der Unterkunft 1.2 Kilometer breit und trug auf Grund der Saison sehr viel Wasser.

Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir einige Ausflüge zu Fuss oder per Boot unternommen und dabei vieles über die Natur, Bevölkerung und Tiere gelernt und gesehen.

Mit ein bisschen Wehmut, aber auch erleichtert darüber das warme und feuchte Klima hinter uns zu lassen, brechen wir heute auf nach Ecuador.Read more
