When Joven told me, "what we do here it's not a business, it's a labor of love", i'll admit i kinda wanted to laugh. I'm a cynical asshole, screw you. His place was brand new, and clearly, so was the staff. But you know what, once i got the ding-dong fever and became confined to my room for a week, i was really really glad to be there. From staff they turned to family, started making me daily herbal potions, bringing me medicine, a doctor, blankets, checking in on my every day, finding me a doctor, going grocery shopping and with so much kindness and genuine care, i realized that Joven was right, and i was too much of an asshole to even understand him.
Even Joven's dogs accompanied us to the beach and attempted to rescue us when we would snorkel a bit too far. It's a hell of a surprise to see a dog underwater when snorkeling 100m out. Goes to tell you how much love and caring was going on there.
This place was a breath of fresh air and a salvation on the dump (literally) that is the paradise island of Boracay.

Everything, absolutely everything went wrong in this country for us. Whether it was bad luck or not, but we will definitely remember it.

The resort itself was nice, at least it was further from the rest of the horror. It was like soviet "пансионат" more than a resort. The spa part in the name was represented by the little sweet massage ladies that would come to the resort as a complimentary package for the guests. And people working here were so sweet trying their best, but completely incompetent in the cutest way possible.

They had two dogs that would run with you to the beach and make sure you are safe swimming otherwise they would swim after you trying to rescue. I have never seen dogs swimming so far in the waves.

The staff just loved to put YouTube pop music videos on the laptop in the reception area and sing along like some version of karaoke.
At the end if not for this place, a little spot of relieve, we wouldn't survive Boracay.

ADVICE: never ever ever ever go to Boracay. Ever!
