Frontsail problems when you dont need it

Laat night we entered into Jacksonville, we were entering through to breakers and had to put down the front sail, which didnt work because it was stuck. Meanwhile a huge tanker ship was approaching. The engine turned off and we were 30 feet away from the breaker. Luckily Don got the engine to work, but it was damn close and scary. safe and sound docked at Jacksonville.
