Odyssey Annapolis to Miami

After passing 12 bridges with an overnight sail to Fort Lauderdale we had a scenic trip to the marina. Last 100 yards we nearly got stuck on the sand bank and underneath the boat you could see huge ray fish. 1,300 miles with average speed of around 5 knots per hour.

Key lessons learned:
- Always fix whatever needs fixing
- Red bouy on the right when going out and always follow the bouys when coming in or out
- Double check the heights of bridges
- Ask local sailors about the sea conditions
- Murpheys law counts double on sea
- Check the lines are all there and in place (including front sail and mainsale)
- Tie the dingy
