Today's roadtrip was through the Orava country side. We travelled over 250 km through Dolby Kubin, Trchova, Namestovo and Liptovsky Mikulas. We went to a remote village where the village people set up a mill in a valley to accommodate both valleys. The road was very ragged and one school was three km away. The mill is being restored and was incredible to see the joinery involved in the operation of the mill. There were free range goats and chickens on the property. We stopped off at one of Marienka's friends for a glass of wine and then headed to Turcianske Teplice. This is another spa town with healing waters for gastrointestinal problems. I drank a glass of the stinky sulphur water to keep myself healthy.Read more
