Encore une grasse matinée pour nous. Puis, une lessive à la façon Flo que nous avons étendu dans notre humble demeure.
Petite balade au centre ville avant de rejoindre le stade de Camp Nou pour un match de Champions League. ⚽️

Rückkehr nach Barcelona

Wir legen wieder in Barcelona an und verabschieden uns an dieser Stelle von David und Tobias. Die beiden werden nun 13h durchfahren um morgen Vormittag wieder im nördlichen Teil Bayerns zu sein. Alle 500km wird man sich beim Tankstop abwechseln und kann sich dann etwas aufs Ohr hauen.

Wir setzen unsere Reise von hier aus bis vor die französische Grenze per Autobahn fort. Über die Pyrenäen geht es dann heute noch bis nach Pau. Unser Plan sieht vor, dass wir nach ein paar schönen Tagen Frankreich unsere Heimat am Donnerstag wieder erreichen werden.Read more

Barcelona HOHO Highlights 🚌

It was recommended to use the Hop on Hop Off (HOHO) bus for some of the main sights in Barcelona. We had tickets for Sagrada Familia Basilica and Park Guell, so we took the Cruise Shuttle to the drop-off spot at the World Trade Center and got on the first HOHO across the walkway and began the Red Line. In a few stops we arrived at the Arc de Triomf stop and hopped off. It was a bit of a walk and we took the long way to get there, but we found a few other cool buildings along the way. We continued the Red Line until one of the exchange sites for the Blue Line. Once on the Blue Line, we hopped off at Sagrada Familia Basilica...WOW!!!Read more

Camp Nou

Dad and I did a tour of Camp Nou, the stadium where FC Barcelona plays, and it was really great and exceeded expectations. The museum was incredible - there is such a long and interesting history of the team and it’s connections to Catalan identity and resistance, and being such a historically successful team, they have a whole lot of trophies to show off. There was even a Messi section just showcasing the trophies he earned personally. Really wild how dominant they have been in the last few decades. The stadium tour was incredible and we got to see much more than I thought we would, including sitting in the seats where the coaches and bench players sit right next to the field. We also got to see a press room and the visitors locker room. Super cool. The stadium is honestly surprisingly old and outdated - the locker room seemed like it could have been in a high school. Overall it was an awesome tour and I was very happy with how much we were able to see with their most basic tour package.Read more

Fußballspiel in Barcelona

4 Stunden und ein Hertha Spiel später kamen wir an, in Barcelona am Spotify Camp Nou. Wir schauten uns das Spiel Barca gegen Celta Vigo an. Im Stadion war eine bomben Stimmung durch die Trommler und die Fans!
Was wir nicht wussten, dass anstrengendste stand uns jetzt noch bevor: einen geeigneten Schlafplatz finden.
Wir fuhren ganze 2 Stunden rum bis wir uns entschieden Barcelona zu verlassen und einfach weiter zu fahren. Irgendwo im Nirgendwo fanden wir gegen 3:30 Uhr einen Schlafplatz. 😴

Leider haben wir uns die Stadt nicht angeguckt, Mike war schon einmal hier. Aber ich komme wieder!Read more

Besuch vom Camp Nou

Es ging 9.30 mit dem Zug nach Barcelona (mit den Abfahrtszeiten nehmen sie es nicht so genau),Fahrzeit ca.1, 15h.Dann sind wir mit Navigator Philipp zum Stadion gelaufen. Im tollen Stadion haben wir uns fast 3h aufgehalten, konnten neben vielen Pokslen goldenen Schuhen, die Kabinen, Presseraum, Spielertunnel, Ränge und Spielfeld sehen und betreten.
Später sind wir mit dem Hop on Bus bis zum Plaza catalunya gefahren und von dort wieder mit dem Zug zum Hotel. Im Hotel waren wir noch Im Hallenbad, 20°, 🌞Read more

Not only did we get to see our first football match. We got to see the famous Camp Nou stadium & watch FC Barcelona up close. We decided to go at the last minute the night before & got tickets early this morning. So I was surprised we got such amazing seats.

Experiencing the game from this angle was so exciting. You get a better sense of the players speed and power with constant action. The game went by so quickly, we nearly missed the entire 1st half. Because somebody (Martin) took an hour to pick his Barca jersey and then we got lost on the Metro.🙄😬 But at least we saw the great Messi score the game winner!Read more
