Okay I made a decision last night, it was to try and make enough money today to buy a new tent... The point was to have a closed space again because it means more heat and less mosquitoes, mostly. The cheapest one at decathlon is 20€ and is still bigger than the one I had at the beginning (and left at Denis' father back in Carcassonne) cause it was an only one person tent. So I went to a (suuuuper) big city with the idea of playing non stop till 2pm, the time when the streets starts to empty and see if I could make the money needed. Not sure yet if I was gonna buy this new tent, I had only 3€ in my pockets.
Around 3Km before reaching the center, I heard a voice behind me, calling, staring above my shoulder, I saw an old lady nearly running towards me telling me to stop. Not knowing what was her problem I went towards her and,... She actually have me a 10€ note saying something I understood it was like a legacy from someone who asked her to give money to people in need!! Also, just before 2pm I kind of lost hope to make enough money (the people in that city were looking very rich but apparently had no money, or not enough to give, anyways) a very nice girl gave me the 3€ I was missing to have exactly the 20€, with a very warm, cute smile! So thanks to that, long story short: I have now a new shitty tent and no more money in my pockets!! 😁Read more
