Minuwangoda Division

After another 5:00 am morning game drive traversing at high speeds over very rough terrain, Christina and I were ready to get back to camp for breakfast and packing. The good news is we saw another male leopard first thing in the morning on top of the rocks. We left at 11:00 am for our 5 hour drive back to Columbo and stayed at Wallawwa near the airport. The hotel was originally a 200 year old British Colonial mansion. Lush gardens, ponds, and beautiful spaces did not disappoint. We managed to sneak in a couple of massages (desperately needed post game drives) and a lovely pasta dinner on the terrace. We had really had our full of curries!!
