    Our first Zodiac landingClearing the path ......... then follow the penguin!Damoy HutSleeping quarters and original equipment .........for 20-24 with very limited facilities!Store room and "office"Dining table and work bench.Our on-board historianDamoy was the airbase for flights in/out Antarctic RegionSupplies still on the shelves but now a museum..... but home to many pengiuns by the pilots old visual reference points.Colonies of Gentoo pengiuns..... you smell them before you see them!One small Argentinian Hut also at DamoyOut on the Zodiacs we spotted lots of penguins...Watched from the ship as an iceberg rolled over...more humpback whales. ......... a rare breach by this orca.... more penguins....... and another humpbackKelvin caught this Leopard Seal..... they all look so cute but weigh up to 1400kgsKayaks on-board getting ready for another paddleCaught the zodiac taking them round the boat to collect their passengersPlayful humpback whales by the SOB

    Damoy Point

    Damoy Point is a headland 900 metres west-northwest of Flag Point, the northern entrance point to the harbour of Port Lockroy, on the western side of Wiencke Island in the Palmer Archipelago of Antarctica. It was discovered and named by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1903–05.
