Last landing - Half Moon Island
Penguin numbers increasing as more come ashore to mate.Last view back from land to shipRocky terrain ideal for nesting....... those nesting on snow not likely to hatch their eggsGeology fascinating.Lost count of how many Zodiac journies we have had.Wreck of a possibly a whaling boatInteresting pebbles....Our last Zodic ride.... final credit to the penguins

    Half Moon Island

    December 4, Bransfield Strait ⋅ ☁️ 1 °C

Our last landing before we head back to Ushuaia. Among this island group, the Half Moon Island is a popular stop for as one of the first Antarctic landmasses before/after Drakes Passage.
