    Nugget Point Lighthouse + Dunedin

    10 février, Nouvelle-Zélande ⋅ ☀️ 59 °F

Today we left Queenstown and went back to the coast! It was a long drive (almost 5 hours total) so we made a few stops at small towns along the way. Once back on the coast we visited Nugget Point Lighthouse. This is usually a great area to see albatross and yellow-eyed penguins but we weren’t lucky enough to see any today. The rocky cliffs and sandy beaches were beautiful though! We checked into our accommodations - Fabel Hotel Dunedin - and wandered the city before dinner. Dunedin has Scottish heritage and is known for its Victorian and Edwardian architecture. We opted for Indian food at Fusion of Flavours for dinner.En savoir plus

VoyageurBenefits of being on the top floor! Downside was the elevator stoped two floors below so we had to carry our suitcase up the last bit
