Sheepish in Buith

A brilliant B and B called Erris Villa in Buith provided home for the night. I ate in a pub where I was the only customer (apparently Monday's are quiet in Buith) having avoided the Indian on the advice of Erris Villa (rat infestation).

Over breakfast I found out why people were driving around with small numbers of sheep in their car. A fellow guest was a farmer in town for the sheep auction. Apparently you can expect to pay up to 8 grand per sheep!Read more

Builth Wells

We set off once more to visit north west Wales where we were planning to do some of the Snowdonia 360.
We stopped off at Chepstow to drop a couple of items off at K and M's pror to driving on to Builth Wells. We stayed on a CS site just outside the town in beautiful rolling green countryside and sent the afternoon planning our stops foe the next three weeks.
The following day we parked up in a layby outside of the town and had a look around. A nice little place on the Wye River and home to the Welsh Showground which was busy doing covid tests on one side and vaccinations on the other. It has a busy little high street and a nice aspect on the river.Read more
