Colwyn Bay

Nik - A day trip to Wales today.

Llandudno - ( Sounds a bit like 'clan-did-know' but the 'cl' is a sound made in the back of the throat.)

We only had half an hour here at the pier. It was beautiful, but cold. The breeze coming off the bay. Brrrrrr. Very pretty little place. Loved the line of old houses along the road and the stark beauty of the cliffs.

Conway - We had two hours here. We walked a small section of the walls built by King Edward the 1st between 1283 and 1286, and had a great view of the castle too. It was built as a part of a series of castles that King Edward designed to protect his power.

They like thier dogs here. Puppy's everywhere.

Snowdonia National Park - OMG beautiful! Also so very very cold. Stark beauty. We only had 30 minutes here. Would have loved to have more time here though.Read more
