My first impression of Manchester is very positive. I like the variety of take-aways in the center and my host mother is also very nice. I had some interesting conversations. The first day of school was actually not bad either. However, it is not so good that we were not mixed. It leads to the fact that we changes more often to German, if someone does not know something. Unfortunately, the school level is not very high either. Especially the afternoon lesson is not very productive. The long lessons are very tiring and at the end of the lesson the comprehension is very low. The most annoying thing here is probably the public transport. For one thing, the buses are always late and for another, you never know exactly where you are because the stations are not written in the bus. All in all, I like it quite a bit and look forward to the next few weeks.Read more
