    Looking for Yogi and Boo-boo

August 7, 2017 in the United States

Leaving the Grand Tetons, we drove another 95 miles to the magnificent Yellowstone National Park. Ranger Smith was there to greet us, and happily posed for a picture. This is an area of stunning beauty, and amazing scenery, including lakes, geysers, waterfalls and painted canyons. No bears, but we did find plenty of something else...

Waiter, there's a Bison in my soup...

August 7, 2017 in the United States

We wanted wildlife, we got wildlife. No bears today, but boy did we get bison! They were close enough to us to touch (not that you'd want to -they're freaking huge!) At one point we were stuck in to 5km traffic jam as a massive herd decided that beside, across, and around the road was the place to be!

Wyoming, but not as i knew it!

August 7, 2017 in the United States

I grew up in Wyoming. Seriously, I did. However, arriving in Jackson Hole, Wyoming I was not prepared for what I was to see... The drive from the airport was across plains, and then we hit it...the township is amazing, and what one would expect from a 'Merrican western township...my pics did it no justice...

    The Grand Tetons on fire!

August 7, 2017 in the United States

After a wander around Jackson Hole (which we must come back to in Winter), we jumped in our Subaru from Montana, and headed east towards a stunning range of mountains that were still snow capped. Unfortunately, we just couldn't capture them well in photos due to the dense smoke haze still lingering from fires that are ongoing in the region. The scenery truly is stunning!

The best part to me was free time one of my group member friend Krystal had a english friend and we went to Sherlock Holmes gift shop I wanted to to go to the museum but i did not have enough money😟. I also wanted to go to the wax museum but the line was to long so we went to abby road and after that we had Indian food. Overall fun day but I would like to come back and do the things I couldn't.
