      今日、レイクタホ から ヨセミテまで車で4時間かけていきました。スポチファイというアプリでみんなで音楽を聞きました。私がスポチファイ一番好きな歌はワナビー と ハンドクラップです。みなさん知っていますか。トイレきゅうけい🚽🚺に行った時にフリールミルクシェイクというものを買いました。1分でミルクシェイクが作れる機械で作りました。私はミントチョコ味を買いました。ミントがすごくスッキリして、チョコがベルギーチョコレートの味がして美味しかったです。ダデイが約50分ぐらい運転したら、雪が残ってる場所があったので、あそびました。全然さむくはなかったのですが、氷を触った時、冷たくて、手が痛くなりました。ホテルに着いたら、夕食に行く前に、スモアズというクラッカー、マシュマロとチョコのおやつを作りました。マシュマロを火であぶって、柔らかくして、クラッカーとチョコで挟みました。
      クラッカーとチョコが美味しくなかったので、コナーとママにあげました。私はマシュマロだけを食べました。美味しかったです。また食べたいです。明日からヨセミテ

      Carlon Falls

      Today we went hiking again! Yesterday we went hiking as well. Today we climbed Carlon Falls. Carlon Falls trail head was 5 minutes by car (not long.) Carlon Falls has beautiful waterfalls that you can see if you hike until the top. We hiked for 40mins and we saw a river with little trout. Then, we met a man who was fishing. He said that we were not even half-way there yet, and he said that there is a very steep place up ahead because the rain washed the trail away, so it was going to be hard climbing up. And he was right, it was very very steep, everyone got tired(especially me and Conor) It was still very steep and we saw big rocks all-over the place. We had to climb on the rocks in order to walk to the next place. We saw dead trees, loads on the trail path and it was hard to walk through. When we finally reached the top , me and Conor found special rocks and cleaned them and kept it in our pockets. I lost one of mine and Conor thought he lost his...

      but he was sitting on it!

      The waterfall was beautiful and the water was so cold and the trail was sandy. My feet were super duper sandy!!😱😱😱😱 I hope I can see a waterfall as beautiful as this one, and not have dirty feet again.      Read more

      Yosemite Valley

      August 29, 2022 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 79 °F

      Started the morning back in the valley again. Began with Mirror Lake Trail. That didn’t last long. Bugs were taking us out and then they saw some (horse) droppings and turned and ran the other way. We rented bikes and spent a few hours exploring the valley, which was absolutely a great decision. Even saw a deer at close distance and the Yosemite Chapel, which is still an active church after 135 yrs. So much to take in. But after 7 days and 3 parks the kids are over hiking and just want to hang at the resort and enjoy all the cool stuff. No tvs here so we’ve been playing lots of board and card games, flying down zip lines and slides, making s’more and trying to read. Overall, we’re ready to come home tomorrow but have another full day here. Tomorrow we plan to do 4 Mile Trail for some new views river.
      Because it’s the end of the summer, most of the waterfalls are dried up and the rafting we had planned has been shut down for the season, so we will finish the day swimming at Sentinel Beach in the Merced River.      Read more
