Last day at Monaco International rally, great brunch then we moved the coach to make sure we could get off the grass after Friday's thunderstorms, quite a few coaches have been stuck and needed a tow. We were fine and we dumped and moved to a gravel site where we filled up with fresh water as we're off to the FMCA convention in Indianapolis tomorrow in a caravan, around 30 coaches all heading off in convoy !!! The fairgrounds have a muscle car show with craft beer and BBQ this afternoon, which was fun to look round.Read more

Entertaining dinner at Bella Italian Grill which is on the west side of Grand Lake. History lesson... the world's largest man made lake was finished in 1845, and dug out by hand by Irish and Germans who were paid 30 cents a day plus a jigger of whiskey.
Outside the restaurant was a circular overspill and some guys were fishing from the bridge using a circular net with weights round the edges, extremely efficient way as one guy was pulling 6-10 good sized fish out each throw !! Yep, the water was green !!Read more

Arrived at the fairground for the Monaco International rally which starts 5th July. Parked on grass which is a bit soft after heavy rains the last couple of days.
Already met up with Dan & Mary Beth, Pete & Marci and Mike & Babs, who we met at the rally last year. We've been invited to join their group Monaco Travelers who have lots of interesting tours & meals planned for the next few days. So let the fun begin !!Read more

Busy few days, attending seminars and a great time socialising with old & new friends. Good food and entertainment. Check out the lady in the band she's playing the spoons almost as good as Stew !!
