Brauch umbedingt noch eine Sonnenbrille und bin auch fündig geworden 😎

Hab durch meine „Abkürzung“ nach Vegas wegen meiner Erkältung etwas Zeit gewonnen ☺️
Lake Tahoe ist mir etwas zu weit weg, mag nicht den ganzen Tag im Auto verbringen, viel zu schön heute, also gehts in Richtung Goldgräber-Citys 😊Read more

It’s finally here!
We started the day at the Waldron’s with a great brunch. Trevor, Matt’s brother, is staying at our house while we’re gone and he’ll be watching olive. Got to the Sacramento airport to have a line dancing group traveling to Las Vegas practice their dances while blasting music. Had a celebratory beer while we waited for our flight. Landed in LAX at 4:30pm and had to wait an hour and half until the check in kiosk opened. Luckily we were second in line so it moved very quickly once they opened. Finally got through security and got ourselves some dinner!

Got off to pretty early start for us. House ready for summer rental, and RV packed for the summer in Michigan! Won't be back until October?!
Parked Subaru with cover and tickle charger on battery at our friend, Dianne's house, picked up sandwiches for lunch in Prather and then down to mom's house. Picked her up for RV drive to Sacto. Lunched in the RV at rest stop near Turlock, nice weather, thick traffic with never-ending construction projects slowed us down some.
Got to Sacto, freshened up and visited Sara and Matt's home. Their yard project looks great!
Then headed to his folks home for a wonderful evening celebrating their engagement. Great food, beautiful view, warm hosts. Met several Waldron folks and reacquainted with Hibbs sibilings. Back to Hibbs home and slept in RV.Read more

Folsom - Monday with Friends

An easy drive on Monday from Pleasanton to Folsom. We wanted to spend some time with our friends here in Folsom.

We made several stops and still arrived before our friends got off work. We had a nice evening of visiting and catching up on the happenings of everybody. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner of chicken tostadas prepared by our hostess, Earlynn.

The remainder of the evening was spent just laughing and enjoying the company of friends. Unfortunately, they had to work on Tuesday, so it was a pretty early evening for us.Read more
