So schnell ist es zu Ende. Es ist immer traurig sich zu verabschieden, aber ich freue mich auch schon auf den nächsten Abschnitt.
Ich hatte noch eine schöne Woche.
Ich habe Eis gegessen (Cookie dough), war Topgolf spielen, auch wenn ich relativ schlecht war, hat es viel Spaß gemacht!
Ich habe mich von meinen ganzen Laborleitern verabschiedet und bedankt.
Am Freitag Abend hatte ich einen schönen Abend mit der ganzen Familie und nun sitze ich am Gate und warte auf meinen Flieger.

It's over so quickly. It's always sad to say goodbye, but I'm also looking forward to the next chapter.
I had another nice week.
I ate ice cream (cookie dough), played Topgolf, even though I was relatively bad, it was a lot of fun!
I said goodbye and thanked all of my lab managers.
And on Friday evening I had a lovely evening with the whole family and now I'm sitting at the gate waiting for my flight.Read more

Endlich nach einer 18 Stunden langen Reise bin ich in Indy angekommen. Ich musste noch kurz auf mein Gepäck warten und meine Gastfamilie wartete draußen schon mich abzuholen.
Die Ankunft erinnerte mich sehr an meine Ankunft in den Staaten vor 5 Jahren zum Start meines Auslandssemester.

Finally after an 18 hour journey I arrived in Indy. I had to wait for my luggage and my host family was waiting outside to pick me up.
The arrival reminded me a lot of my arrival in the States 5 years ago at the start of my semester abroad.Read more

After a very long day of dividing and conquering a college orientation and a trip to Illinois to drop off Daisy Dog at “grandma camp” and then a long drive ahead of the storms down to Indy for a short night of rest…we are now off! (That was a long sentence.) Aiden met a few classmates and has his classes set for next year. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane and Jon got to see his mom for a quick lunch before we leave. (We owe her a huge mound of thanks for taking the dog for us so that poor Daisy doesn’t have to sit in a kennel for three weeks.) Our cat, on the other hand, may end up feral by the time we return. (Don’t worry, we have a neighbor girl who said she’d keep him fed.)Read more

Traveler Thanks! I don’t really know what I’m doing and I’m not sure if anyone is reading it but I noticed that I can export the trip as a pdf and have a nice journal to keep. I like that!
