I could stay here all day!

This abandoned house is in the middle of nowhere, literally, but is the coolest place - not temperature wise!

During the Sturgis rally, the abandoned house is turned into a restaurant and saloon with good bands and a very comfortable place to hang out. As you can see in the photos, travelers sign the walls and it's amazing to see how many people have passed through here.

There are two Marshall's patrolling on horseback and everyone is so friendly! We've struck up conversations with several people.

There is a ranch across the road and up on the hill. There are a few small tents near the pastures that appear to be set up for the cowboys to get out of the sun and heat. This is the stuff we see in movies!

We must continue on our journey, but I think we'd both sit a bit longer here if we could.Read more
