    Pour résumer, l'Uruguay c'est quelques villes réputées et surtout beaucoup de plage. Hors de la côte, peut de chose à voir selon les locaux et les backpackers croisés en chemin. Punta del Este, considéré comme le Monaco local, n'est pas fait pour moi ! Direction donc Punta del Diablo. Durant deux jours, j'ai pu y faire le tour des plages et de la pointe, et arpenter le marché artisanal. L'artisanat est en effet très présent dans la région. J'ai appris en arrivant en Uruguay que la légalisation du cannabis date de plusieurs années. On trouve donc beaucoup de hippies qui se déplacent en vieux kombi et qui vendent les bijoux qu'ils confectionnent.Read more

    Le parc Santa Teresa se trouve juste à côté de Punta Del Diablo. Il est donc logique que j'y fasse un tour avant de continuer ma route. La végétation y est abondante et le zoo très correct. J'ai juste le temps le revenir à proximité des sombraculo qu'une énorme tempête s'abat sur le parc. La visite de ces cultures de plantes subtropicales marquera donc la fin de la journée au parc.Read more

    Nachdem ich mich von Cabo losgelöst habe, bin ich weiter Richtung Norden gefahren. Hauptgrund für die Wahl meines Hostels war Miriam. Die hatte nämlich hier ihre Lederjacke vergessen und dafür, das ich sie hier einsammle, hat sie meinen Schlafsack wieder mit zurück nach Deutschland genommen. Was mich geritten hat, den mitzunehmen, weiß ich eigentlich auch nicht so genau. Fiel mir schon am Flughafen in München auf und da hatte ich mich schon geärgert. Aber gut, jetzt bin ich ihn los und werde die Jacke beizeiten einer Freundin von ihr geben, die noch in Südamerika unterwegs ist.
    Habe hier nur 2 Nächte verbracht und habe einen Ausflug in den Nationalpark ‚Santa Teresa‘ gemacht. Mir wurde im Hostel erzählt, dass die Schildkröten gerade dort Eier legen. Nunja, anscheinend sind sie schüchtern, ich habe sie auf jeden Fall nicht gesehen. Ansonsten lebt dieser Ort vom Strand. Aber nach Cabo Polonio stinkt er so ein wenig ab..    Read more

    Punta del diablo - Journée off

    Après quelques jours passés dans la magnifique région autour de Barra de Valizas, nous devons reprendre la route vers le nord car nous avons rendez vous avec 4 énergumènes le 03/04 a Puerto Alegré. En effet, Guillaume et Sylvain deux amis que nous avons en commun, ainsi que David et Benoit deux amis d’enfance de Romain viennent nous rejoindre pour 3 semaines de folie au Brésil. Avant de prendre la route Romain se motive à faire un petit footing le long de la plage, il peine à perdre le poids pris à Rio de Janeiro. Nous prenons enfin la route, un logement nous attend à Punta del diablo afin de nous remettre à jour sur les différents sujets, mais aussi et surtout pour que M. rugby puisse regarder les 1/4 de final de Clermont en coupe d’Europe. En arrivant sur place le propriétaire est là pour nous accueillir, il est ultra sympa, souriant et plein d’énergie. Il a l’air visiblement content de louer son logement à des petits jeunes, d’autant qu’il s’engagera à amener un téléviseur le lendemain avec le câble pour que Mathieu puisse regarder son match. Pierre et Romain vont faire quelques emplettes (course et laverie) pendant que Mathieu ira faire une petite balade sur la plage.Read more

    Petr is going for a swim

    Our firstbvisit to the beach and Petr immediately decided to go for a swim. The beach was beautiful and the water not even that cold but there was a rather cold wind and I hugely admired Petr for his decision. I ended up at least with my feet in the water and it felt great!Read more

    After a busy capital, we have arrived to sleepy fishing village of Punta del Diablo. The bus dropped us of at the bus station with very good WiFi and local map. We have decided to stay at the camp that was the closest to the beach. It took us a good half an hour and a bit of searching but we have found out home for next couple of days. The village gets super busy over the summer, on January and February when most of the locals arrive for their holiday. As we have visited earlier, we found place with beautiful sandy beaches that were completely empty and the entire place had rather slow atmosphere.Read more

    Beaches and waves in Punta del Diablo

    After a really disappointing first look at the ocean in Montevideo, the beaches in Punta del Diablo were a massive improvement. Completely deserted and out of season, they were beautifully clean, with plenty of shells and sand everywhere. Long walks along the local beaches was a fantastically spent time together. Just watch out for the sun, it is really strong.Read more

    אני בזמן של פרידות... ארלי חזרה לפרו, עוז ועדי המשיכו הלאה וגם מדנה ואופיר, שאיתו טיילתי יום יום בלמעלה מחמשת החודשים האחרונים נפרדו ממני במונטיבידאו. לא רק זאת הטיול שלי קרוב מאד לסיומו, אז יש גם מזה להיפרד.
    בעיירה שאליה הגעתי החדרים בהוסטל הם האוהל שלך.
    ישנתי שתי לילות במתחם הזה ובשלישי החלטתי לקחת תיק עם אוהל, אוכל וציוד וללכת לישון בים.
    ביום לפני שיצאתי היתה לי שיחה מעולה עם גלעד שבאווירת הסיכום של הטיול גרמה לי לחשוב על ההמשך ולחפש את התשוקות שלי.
    הרבה זמן לא ראיתי את הים והוא מקום טוב לחשוב בו, אז מצאתי לעצמי נקודה רחוקה ומבודדת מאדם שם יכולתי להיות עצמי ולהתרכז בעצמי.
    להיות עצמי אמר לי בראש ובראשונה לפשוט את הבגדים ולהעביר את כל הזמן שלי שם עירום לגמרי.
    הרוגע, השקט, הספר, הטבע, השמש, האוהל, החול, הג'ונגל מעבר לגבעת החול, השמיים הכחולים, ציוץ הציפורים, הלבד, הלחשוב ורעש הגלים גרמו לי להרגיש מלא ולייחל לחזור לארץ ולטרוף את מה שיש לה להציע.
    בנוגע לתשוקות שלי, כנראה שהתשובה לשאלה הזו לא תימצא אם אחפש אותה.

    בנסיעה שלי לפונטו דל דביל פגשתי את סטפניה, אורוגוואית שיצאה לחופשה של כמה ימים בעיירות החוף של המדינה. התחברנו וטיילנו מעט לפני שישנתי בשטח. גם את האוטובוס חזור לקחנו יחד והיא הציעה לי שבמקום לישון בהוסטל אבוא לישון בבית שלה. שמחתי מאד להצעה ובישלתי לה ולמשפחה שלה ארוחת ערב כתודה.    Read more
