Sightseeing-Taxi von Hoi An nach Hue

    March 6, 2020 in Vietnam ⋅ ☁️ 24 °C

    April 19, 2019 in Vietnam ⋅ ☀️ 34 °C

Our first stop on the cable line was the French Village. It was very pretty, but like most theme parks, very busy!

Bana Hill / The Golden Bridge

    January 5, 2020 in Vietnam ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

Read more

    Ba Na Hills

    April 19, 2019 in Vietnam ⋅ ☀️ 34 °C

After leaving Da Nang this morning we drove to the Ba Na Hills. We arrived at the Sunworld Park and had to travel to the top via cable car, the views were amazing (and a tab bit scary being so high!)

    Ba Na Hills Resort

    May 29, 2016 in Vietnam ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

The drive to this place was incredible purely for the unexpectedness of the scenery but the end result was definitely the suprise of the day. We were following a map which just showed walking trails and viewpoints and so as we crested the hill closing in on our destination we saw a huge wall that looked as though it had been taken out of medieval China but brand new with a car park full of cars, coaches and bikes next to it. We drove down and discovered it was a holiday park resort thing but that it was seemingly catered to Chinese people who wanted to experience Vietnam all in one place without travelling Vietnam as it had architecture, temples, activities & events from across the country and its history. All of it premeditated and designed. Bit of a shame really, we couldn't get in to the viewpoints or walks without paying so we just rode off again enjoying the spectacular view all around us.Read more

Da Nang Vivian Villa & Apartment

    May 12, 2019 in Vietnam ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

    [day 10]

Yesterday we arranged at the reception of the hotel a transfer for the next day (costs 800,000 VND=32€) to go to Sunworld Ba Na Hills. It was a return transfer. Because we would fly late in the evening to Nha Trang today we could have the whole day to enjoy ourselves at that entertainment park. First we had breakfast and then the taxi came right on the arranged time. Another wish would become real for us today. On our way to Sunworld we also saw the famous 'dragon bridge' in Da Nang.Read more

    Into the Ba Na Hills

    August 20, 2018 in Vietnam ⋅ 25 °C

We haven’t done to many tours, so we decided to go up to Ba Na Hills (Vietnam’s Disneyland/Jurassic Park?) We rode the cable cars to the top, and visited the brand new golden bridge with giant hands, walked around a few pagodas and marveled at the view from the mountains. We may have sat down and had a German style buffet, too. It was easy to forget where in the world we were. It was Disneyland meets Europe. Quite unique and weird!Read more

Ba Na Hills Sunworld French Village

    May 12, 2019 in Vietnam ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

Yeah, we reached the top. We stepped into the 'french village'. My dream came true. A nice fountain in the middle of the square and flowers everywhere you look. Buildings like in the Middle Ages. Very beautiful. I want to stay here!Read more

Ba Na Hills Sunworld French Village

    May 12, 2019 in Vietnam ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

At the front of the church they were taking pictures of a bride. We peeped into the church itself and then went on to all the other things there was to see up here. We got so much impressions that we nearly fainted! What an activity here! Music and people giving a dance show on the square, fountains, a lot of places to eat and buy souvenirs or something else, we really didn't know where to start, so we just walked along and let it come all over us. We absorbed the vipes.Read more
