After one night in Kuranda we drove up north to the Daintree National Park. Along a very curvy road and over the Daintree river (with a ferry) we got to the Daintree discovery center. Once there we walked around the treetop walks and learned a bit about the rainforest and its inhabitants. (Nei mir hend kei Bewiisföteli ;) )

On our way to the campsite on cape tribulation we saw a wild southern Cassowary at the side of the road. One of only 1200 left in the world!

The next day we hade some delicious Daintree ice cream and then drove back to Kuranda to hop on the scenic railway to Cairns.
