    The Mosta Rotunda

    Once we had found again the light of the sun, went to visit the Rotunda, an impressive church built under the model of the biggest Rom church's, namely St Peter. It is very specific, and has the third biggest self-holding Rotunda in the world, and I can tell you that rising to its level is actually extremely impressive, and this time only Béatrice went near to the edge to check its breadth and depth...
    We also learnt about the miracle of the Rotunda, when on April 9th 1942, during the mass, a german bomb fell on the rotunda, made a hole and rolled down to the bottom without exploding, leaving the church nearly intact, and the crowd unharmed... a miracle for the believers, which they of course awarded to the Virgin Mary, as a result if their prayers of mercy.
