Early start to get down to our campsite via Port Isaac. Nice site drove down to Rock (5 minutes) had a lovely afternoon on the beach and a glass of wine overlooking the lovely estuary

Walked the path (what path?) through the 🌽 cornfields to Rock. Not straightforward, Charlie knackered, took 1.5 hours. Leisurely meal in the Blue tomato, crab 🦀 salad, yum, cider and wine, thenWeiterlesen
Visited Perranporth en route to next site at Porthtowan. Ended up at the Watering hole on the beach, a spot of lunch then watched some of the Wales v South africa game. Got the awning up and chilledWeiterlesen
Walked the path to Porthtowan, too hot for poor Charlie, had to stop and carry him. Gorgeous coastal scenery. Had a couple in the Blue bar and a pizza 🍕 before a walk back up the hill. Love it. 5Weiterlesen
Drove 5 minutes to Portreath. No dogs on the beach, but had an ice cream and a quick swim, plus a pint at the Basset Arms (live music Sunday afternoons). Called in Redruth on the way back, a bitWeiterlesen
Onto Gwithian and a 1 night stop with no leccy. Lovely little site next to the Red River Inn. Had a pint and a walk to the beach, then had a lovely tapas in the evening chatting to a Romanian family.Weiterlesen
Drove into St Ives but parked a mile out, near Carbis bay. A half hour walk down, but glorious views. Stopped for a sunny vista wine at the Pedn Olva then walked on down to the tourist trap and gotWeiterlesen
Popped over to Porthleven at thr top of the Lizard. What an unexpected joy of a place. Indie stalls, foodies and everything you could want. Spent several hours there. Ship Inn has a music festivalWeiterlesen
