    Blue pools bridge jumping

    February 28, 2017 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 18 °C

Via a 20 minutes walk we got from the parking place by the main highway to a junction where two rivers met and several swing bridges brought us lastly to one bridge where you had deep enough water below to jump into.

The bridge was about 5 to 10 meters high, the water about 5 to 10 degrees cold I guess. And as much as I loved jumping from above, I did it three times. Unfortunately I jumped of the last time in a little wrong angle which made me hit the water more diagonal than straight.

With some pain in the muscles we hit back to the car. Happy but tired, Corinna drove the last piece of the way to our campground.
