    Innsbruck day 2

    Woke up, had breakfast and a cappuccino before getting ready to check out of the hotel and go exploring. Walked the charming town filled with so much history and old buildings, it’s like being in a fairytale. Popped into a few shops before grabbing lunch at a cool, hipster vibe burrito/taco joint. Their focus is on all natural sustainability. For instance, the guacamole is made from peas because they require less water to grow than an avocado. The meal was great and so were the aperol spritz. Next we headed to the tram/gondola ride all the way to the top of Innsbruck mountain, it takes roughly 30 min with a few stops and cable car switches. The views and sunshine were amazing!!!! (Around 7000 feet above sea level) Quick stop at the MarktBar am Inn for an amazing aperol spritz and a yummy Portuguese dessert. Drove to Salzburg, checked into The Imlauer Hotel Pitter and had an amazing dinner on the 6th floor restaurant. Heading to bed early, we have a fun filled day tomorrow including The Sound of Music Tour!Read more
