Springdale, End of the roadJune 21, 2016 in Canada ⋅ ⛅ 33 °C
So we headed this noon out of the Grosemore National park due to rainy weather conditions up north towards an area which is known for iceberg sightings. We ended up in Springdale, a mediun sized town in the middle of nowhere, but with very friendly people.
After the RV campsite was not suitable for us and the beach was very rough and windy we met a very lovely, friendly and kind retired couple which owned two house beside each other.
Following a little walk around in the wooden area and a chat about our travel iternary they offered us to camp in the back larn of the second house which is currently unoccupied. But not only we may sleep on their ground and gras, no they also gave us a tour of both their houses, the key to their second house and invited us to use the bathroom, shower and while we were into it: The kitchen.
It is simply unbelievable how friendly and welcoming those people are in atlantic canada!Read more
