While it started pretty easy on a wide part of the river between the island, the situation pretty soon became much more difficult when we came into more and more narrow parts where little islands, trees and bushes left only a couple of meters to navigate through and we sometimes had to follow our front guide through sharp curves and even pieces against the current.
Since not everyone were that experienced like the guide or Corinna and me it happened what, as we got told later, happens nearly every time on these tours: Two girls, not so experienced, didn't stir properly and ended up in a bush and before you could actually look twice they got capsized by the pressure of the current. The current immediately grabbed the upside down kajak and the girls and took them downstream away from the turn where we should go in.
The back guide and two other boats rushed to help them, including us, but the back guide advised us to take the turn and so we got to help them and later on brought back upstream by one of the fishers with a mother boat.
