Apparently according to Channel 9 news Tara camel races this year reached a record of 13,000 people in attendance. They had to expand the actual caravan camping areas into outside areas as well justLue lisÀÀ

Great drive from Beauy to Tara. Just shy of 4 hours to get there. Great organisation at the Racecourse for the festival, checking in 12,000 guests and sorting out 2,100 caravans. Fireworks and dinnerLue lisÀÀ

Attended the festival today. Walked around for a few hours, saw a couple of camel races and a yabby race, bought a souvlaki and threw it away, looked at some stalls. Glad we only went for one day,Lue lisÀÀ
