Gar nicht so schwarzes Meer, Bulgarien

    May 11 in Bulgaria ⋅ 🌙 11 °C

Dann endlich: Warna!

    Warna

    October 27, 2019 in Bulgaria ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

After a few thousand kilometers I made it to the Black Sea in Varna. Once there, I became acquainted with Gabi's grandparents and was cordially invited to an excellent dinner. The rest of the time I spent with my old friend Marc, who pretends to study here in a paradisiac environment of beach bars and numerous stands offering freshly squeezed fruit juices. With a workout in an authentic Bulgarian cellar gym and wellness right on the Black Sea coast, I have strengthened myself for very little money physically and mentally for the onward journey.Read more

    April 26 in Bulgaria ⋅ ☁️ 21 °C

after cleaning up the photos from yesterday putting my logo on and uploading to Google Drive I checked my train ticket and it’s still in processing. So I left around midday to the Roman baths.

Roman bath is quite impressive and huge. I was the only tourist walking through it and enjoyed the quietness in the end of the city.

As I still have time until 7 pm, I continue my walk and stop by a bar called Mono Loco, a Mexican bar.

so today after my big walk to the city at 6 o’clock, there was the planed start of the general rehearsal of Catharina. I went to the Theatre around 540 and it was very surprised they started the rehearsal at 6 pm.

From the repetition yesterday I couldn’t guess that it’s so beautiful, costumes are beautiful and the story is very diverse. I enjoyed seeing it very much, even though I didn’t see too much through the camera.

Today it’s sunny and a warm day. It’s very enjoyable to walk through the city after I had my visits done, I decide to go to Vine divine which is located close to the art gallery. They hit my small wine which was a rosé and they serve with the wine some snacks, cheese, salami, olives.

I continued down to the beach. I walked in the park primorski for a while and went into by the beach. I had my second déjà vu because after paying I went to the toilet and got a recall that it was the last time also in that bar.

I returned to the hotel around five recharge my mobile and went to 5:45 to the rehearsal.

    Archelogical Museum Varna

    April 25 in Bulgaria ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C

after deciding between plane and train to Sophia, I bought my Internet a train ticket €25 the plane would have been € 40. The plane takes 15 minutes the train nearly 9 hours. Now the ticket isn’t processing and I’m told that it may take up to 1 day. So I’m waiting.

I was already in varna two years ago but I missed this museum. I didn’t think it was so cool, but following some posters on the roads I decide to visit it. And it’s very worth to visit, especially the pre-Christ time when they had the big golden discoveries. The museum is very beautifully made it well worse. It took me about an hour in the first level in the same level about 50 minutes because I was not too much interested in the Roman history and church history.

    Evening out in Warna

    April 24 in Bulgaria ⋅ 🌙 14 °C

after having some time after being at the opera hours of varna I decided to walk a bit to the evening and nightly Cetty. First I went down to the harbour walked around the little bit went into a restaurant. I was two years ago and just planned to have a beer but finally I ended up with chicken wings. First I thought it’s quite expensive for chicken wings €7 but when they came I knew it was not expensive they were just huge about 350 g.

I left the restaurant around 830 and start my stroll along the shoreline first passing the public swimming pool which is quite cool area and then went further on passing the casino and went up to hotel Cherno More. I thought Thursdays evenings it is much much more busy but the bar is empty.. Then I thought I go home to the hotel but decided to walk up to the cathedral. There are some pictures and then walking down another road and found out the Irish pub and the whiskey tasting was already two years ago. I didn’t take any beer or risky. I just went to the hotel and prepare the photos for the dancers at two and went to sleep.
